she ran, ran and ran. stops. a door infront of her, where does it take her to? her hands shake as they hovered on the door knob, unsure if to let herself see what is at the other side-
"shit!" mahnoor cursed the ball that had somehow rolled away and fallen from the study table and on to her foot. She shut the book with a loud thud. puts it down on the table. the book reads: 'THE PHANTOMS FROM DREAMS' which is written by Elena Rostova. Leaving the ball on the floor and the book harshly shut on the table she forced her legs to get up from the chair and move towards her bed where she had her mobile sitting silently with the bell turned off, the notifictions waiting to be seen with thier voices shut.
"why the heck this guy cant ever complete his sentence in one text?" mahnoor complained in an annoying tone through the silent screen to no one. on her mobile screen the text sended by her friend Zobair reads: "hey!!" "open the damn door" "i have been standing here for nearly 1 hour now" "where are you?????" and follow by thousand misscalls or more.
"where are you going?" mahnoor's mother ask as mahnoor entered the kitchen, downstairs. "did someone knock on the door?" asked mahnoor "no i dont think i heard any kind of noise coming from outside" "are you sure?" "…maybe i did, or maybe not?" her mother answered. each word, each letter , the frequency of the voice she had spoken at, and each milli second of the sentence sounded like she was barely 0.5% sure of the sentence she had spoken barely a minute ago as in response to her daughter's question. Mahnoor was frozen, standing there ,thinking about something that only is wasting her time and energy. "knock knock~~" then there comes the stupiest noise of the stupiest boy in all human history.
Mahnoor opens the door despite not wanting to get her brain swallowed by whatever her lovely and smartest friend was going to say or do next. "what is your problem? what is this "knock knock" in a weird as hell noise, me and my mother could have died if you had kept going on for another more second". She said to Zobair not knowing she had rushed her voice too much that she started caughing. "at least take a moment to appreciate your friends paitenece, i waited for one hour, here, under this sun." said Zobair who sounds more like he wants to be worshiped than just wanting a simple thanks. "no way you waited for one hour long, dont lie to me. when did you exactly arrived at?" "i arrived at around 10:30." "you havent been standing here for even ten minutes then, its only been 10:35 now." "yeah, but it felt like one hour" said Zobair as he dramtically acts like he was swallowed by the sun standing there for barely ten minutes. he kept acting dramatically thinking mahnoor is even listening and watching his act. but unfortunetly for him, in her head her so beloved friend was screaming as his skin slowly started to shade away and his meat comes in vison which was hidden beneath his skin a moment ago, a moment later he was now no more than a pile of ashes, waiting to be disposed of. no more annoying voices, no more unfunny jokes, only peace was left in her life now… until she had to come to reality.
